Career Readiness and Educational Advancement Through Native Youth Empowerment

A parent or guardian can enroll a student by registering as a new user.

Project CREATE is a five-year United States Department of Education grant awarded to the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. Project CREATE (Career Readiness and Educational Advancement Through Native Youth Empowerment) aims to improve educational opportunities and long-term academic and career outcomes for American Indian youth by building culturally responsive, community-rooted pathways that begin in early childhood and extend through high school, postsecondary education, and into high-skill careers. The grant will be providing services beginning October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2030.

Project CREATE
The grant's offices are at the Lumbee Tribal Housing Complex.

  • Student(s) must reside in the Lumbee Tribal Service Area (LTSA) of Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson or Scotland Counties to qualify for services.
  • Student(s) must have either a Tribal Enrollment Card or a Title VI Indian Education 506 verification form complete in their district.
  • Student(s) may participate in most services if they attend either a Public, Charter, Private, or Homeschool.
